What does the booking and payment process look like?
A 50% non-refundable electronic retainer fee is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance can be paid in installments prior to the session or in full on the day of the session.
This policy ensures that your booking is confirmed and reserved. In the event of inclement weather preventing the session, your retainer fee will be applied to a rescheduled date. However, please note that the retainer fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation or no-show. If circumstances require me to cancel, you will receive a full refund of the retainer fee.
Please be aware that pricing is subject to change based on factors such as location, attire, occasion, and the number of participants. Therefore, these rates may vary depending on your specific preferences and requirements.
Upon submission of the form below, using the provided email, I will promptly deliver a complete gallery of edited images within 3-4 weeks from your session date via PassGallery—a convenient platform for accessing, printing, favoriting, and sharing your photos online with ease among friends and family. Please ensure to download and backup your files promptly as I cannot guarantee archival storage beyond a few months.
How will I receive my files?
While I appreciate the concept, my primary goal is to produce the most compelling work for you and ensure the utmost satisfaction of my clients. I do not provide blurry or out-of-focus images unless it aligns with a specific artistic style we've agreed upon. Rest assured, I am committed to delivering all relevant images promptly and without reservation.
Does the client get to choose the images?
What’s the point of a retainer? & Why is it non-refundable?
Given the nature of my business and scheduling commitments, please note the following policies: If you fail to attend or cancel your session, I may have been able to accommodate another client in that time slot.
To secure your preferred time slot, I do not confirm bookings without the upfront payment of the retainer fee. If the retainer fee is not paid, the time slot remains available to other potential clients, as I cannot guarantee its availability.
The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the session before our departure. Should the remaining balance remain unpaid after two attempts to receive payment, photos will regrettably be deleted.
There is a mileage charge of $1.10 per mile for locations outside Kailua, HI. However, if I choose to travel to a specific location voluntarily, there is no additional travel fee provided you are within a 10-mile radius of my home base. I will announce such travel plans on social media. Therefore, if travel costs have been a concern for booking, please stay tuned to my social media channels for any upcoming announcements.

Will I have access to raw images? (Raw images are images without my editing)
I do not provide clients with unedited photos due to the extensive effort invested in curating my portfolio and presenting my work, which includes tasks like removing unnecessary elements from images, addressing acne or smoothing skin per client request. It's important to note that my photography style emphasizes natural poses and environments, and I refrain from overly photoshopped images. I focus on enhancing minor details to ensure clients look their best during the session, which helps in expediting the delivery of the final gallery.
